In the days of the great Pharaohs, during Egypt’s Golden Age, lived Akenaton, also called Amenhotep IV, King of Egypt. Down through the ages, Akenaton’s fervent “Hymn to Aton” (The One God) has survived, and in it we can sense a precursor of the Judeo-Christian tradition of one omnipresent and almighty God. The devout passion of Akenaton’s prayer to Aton is conveyed in the introduction by the
noted actress Eartha Kitt, and the forceful interpretation of the prayer by the distinguished actor/director John Huston. Directed and photographed by Nadine Markova. Produced by Miguel Aleman Velasco. Executive Producers: Nadine Markova and Larry Russell.
